USB Drive Could Be A "Key" To Your Google Account

Google introduces new security method called as Google Security Key. In addition to password authenticationand two stages, is now Google introduced the devices USB drive as a "keyfor all of its online services.

Flash introduced by Google is aimed at providing more protection for the Googleservice accounts that sensitive security level. Method Of Security Key. Thetechnology uses a Universal Protocol 2nd Factor (U2F) artificial FIDO Alliance.

USB Drive that will be used must be paired first with a Google account. After that,each time the user logged on, the Flash should also be plugged in a computer/laptop via USB port.

According to Google, the primacy of the protection is the user can avoid phishing and scam or fraud and data theft. Because, the Security Key will only work withthe original Google sites instead of imitation sites designed to trick users.

"When you sign in to your Google account by using Chrome and Security Key,then you can be sure that the cryptographic identity in it do not get duped,"Google spokesman bright, Nishit Shah.
